while we are here we are very much enjoying all that God is allowing us to see and learn and it has been very interesting, fun and exciting.
But in all reality we are living here, we have become part of this culture as different as everything may be and I mean everything. Life goes on and we are trying to make the best of it, with God's mercy.
This is from our 4th story window
Time in the playground..... which is daily
Taking pictures with the girls.
Trying out wearing no shoes like her sister ( I am not sure the tias would like that)
Besides playing on the play ground and bugging the security guard and cleaning guy and confusing them with our English or visa, versa. We go on a lot of walks all over this town. Some days we put on quite a few miles. We play all sorts of games that we brought with and we are actually getting sort of tired of those, so we bought a Spanish one and I am still working on interpreting that one.
We go the the park Carolina a lot and still have not seen all that is has to offer and we have been there around 6 times (they have a very good cafe inside the garden). There is always something new to see. The first time we walked in this area Harmony seen a mime , she was quite scared or unsure what was going on, she has taken quite an interest in them and always tries to catch there attention. She got to interact a little with one. Every time we walk, which is sometimes more than twice a day we see or hear something new. We have seen fireworks 3 times since we have been in this house.
So as another project we went shopping for items to make no bake cookies (figured we could not go wrong with those in this altitude)
Ale and Harmony working together.... they make great sisters
They did turn out, actually better than they do at home for me.
But the best part was watching Ale lick the spoon she was quite surprised and could not get enough.
Next project..brownies from Mindo.
Finished Product!
This has been Kevin's biggest past times is watching these guys on this building project
I am sure sometimes he wishes he could jump in help, but I am afraid it would be a mess in more ways than one.
