Home made Candy Bars

Brianna thought it would be a great idea to have an ongoing fundraiser so we have been giving it much thought while she was still in Ecuador, tossing ideas back and forth via skype.  And she came up with some home made chocolate ideas.  So second day home she says lets get started.  So to the kitchen we go.  She gets all her stuff together and tries her hand at home made choc.  Well, if you want anymore information on that you should talk to Aaron or Jeremy and they will fill you in.

 This is all the information that I am giving out!

So back to the drawing board, it did not take long and Brianna had a new idea. Home made Candy Bars.  So in order to get it going quick like she calls her best baking friend over for a hand.  And to top it all off the electrician came to finish up and the power got turned off for a while.

 Now for the packaging, that was my job, I found some bags, then thought of a stamp that would work.  Fortunately we had all these supplies at home.

 The finished product.  She added Peanut Butter Cup and Twix.

These candies have all been handmade with yummy ingredients!  They are  guaranteed to taste as good as or better than the one's off the store shelf!  We are selling these handmade candy bars to help our family fundraise for our adoption.  We are in the process of adopting a little girl from Ecuador, who has been witing a long time for a family.  In total we need over $30,000 to adopt this little girl.  So we hope you enjoy your candy bar and feel free to come back for more!

This was her first sale at the spring fling in Ladysmith.  She sold out!

Today she is back in the kitchen before her day of working two jobs and mom finishing up after she is gone, getting ready for another sale this weekend in Ladysmith.  Come on out and see her!
